Cerita adalah aplikasi cerita anak berbahasa Indonesia dengan ilustrasi dan narasi suara. Privasi anak adalah prioritas kami. Kami mengumpulkan data sesedikit mungkin, dan di bawah ini dijelaskan seluruhnya — tanpa kecuali.

Data yang kami kumpulkan

• Pengidentifikasi pemasangan yang anonim (install_id). Nilai acak yang dibuat aplikasi di perangkat saat pertama kali dijalankan. Nilai ini tidak terhubung dengan nama, email, nomor telepon, akun Google, atau identitas apa pun. Kami memakainya untuk dua hal: membedakan satu pemasangan dari pemasangan lain saat menghitung statistik, dan menentukan versi layar langganan serta harga mana yang ditampilkan pada perangkat ini dalam uji coba harga. Penentuan itu dihitung langsung dari nilai acak tersebut — kami tidak menyusun profil pengguna.
• Laporan kesalahan aplikasi (crash reports). Bila terjadi galat, aplikasi mengirimkan penanda teknis kesalahan: nama jenis kesalahan serta nama file dan nomor baris dari maksimal tiga tempat di kode kami, ditambah versi aplikasi dan nama layar. Kami tidak menyimpan teks pesan kesalahan, isi cerita, maupun apa pun yang Anda lihat atau dengar di aplikasi.
• Peristiwa teknis di dalam aplikasi. Kami mencatat peluncuran aplikasi, keberhasilan atau kegagalan memuat katalog, pembukaan layar langganan, ketukan pada tombol di layar tersebut, serta hasil pembelian (berhasil, dibatalkan, atau gagal) beserta nama paket langganan dan harga etalasenya. Kami juga mencatat peristiwa membaca: cerita dibuka, dibaca sampai layar terakhir, ditutup sebelum selesai, serta ketukan pada cerita yang terkunci. Kami juga mencatat langkah sederhana di dalam aplikasi: membuka bagian untuk orang tua, ketukan pada tombol cerita berikutnya, menambah atau menghapus cerita favorit, dan membuka rak katalog. Bersama peristiwa membaca ikut terkirim nama teknis (slug) cerita atau rak dan satu angka — nomor halaman atau lama membaca dalam detik; isi cerita tidak ikut. Setiap peristiwa membawa install_id anonim, jenis platform, versi aplikasi, dan waktu kejadian menurut jam perangkat — peristiwa dapat menunggu tanpa internet dan terkirim beberapa jam kemudian. Bila Anda menyalakan pemberitahuan, kami juga mencatat: pemberitahuan diterima perangkat, pemberitahuan dibuka, serta saat Anda menyalakan atau mematikan pemberitahuan dan saat izin sistem ditolak. Bersama dua peristiwa pertama ikut terkirim nomor kiriman — angka di basis kami, supaya kami tahu berapa perangkat yang menerima kiriman tersebut; isi pemberitahuan dan nomor telepon tidak ikut. Selain penanda teknis yang disebut di atas, peristiwa tidak memuat apa pun tentang Anda maupun anak Anda.
• Masukan yang Anda tulis sendiri (formulir "Masukan & bantuan"). Jika Anda memilih untuk mengusulkan ide cerita atau melaporkan masalah, kami menerima teks yang Anda tulis, apa adanya. Mengirimnya sepenuhnya sukarela — aplikasi bekerja penuh tanpa itu. Bersama teks selalu ikut terkirim install_id anonim, versi aplikasi, jenis platform (Android atau iOS), dan nama layar tempat tombol ditekan. Bila yang Anda kirim adalah laporan masalah, ikut pula nama teknis (slug) cerita yang sedang terbuka beserta nomor halamannya, penanda teknis kesalahan terakhir (nama jenis kesalahan dan maksimal tiga baris kode kami sendiri — tanpa teks pesan kesalahan dan tanpa tautan apa pun), serta tanda bahwa aplikasi tidak berhasil memuat katalog. Kami tidak meminta dan tidak menyimpan email, nama, maupun usia anak — dan justru karena itu kami tidak dapat membalas Anda secara pribadi. Teks masukan tidak dipublikasikan dan tidak ditampilkan kepada pengguna lain; kami memakainya hanya untuk memperbaiki aplikasi dan memilih cerita berikutnya. Formulirnya berada di area orang tua dan baru terbuka setelah verifikasi orang tua, sehingga anak tidak dapat mengirim apa pun sendiri. Mohon jangan menuliskan data pribadi di dalam teks tersebut.
• Status langganan. Data teknis langganan yang kami terima dari RevenueCat: paket, harga dan mata uang, status aktif atau berakhir, negara toko, dan nomor transaksi toko. Data kartu tidak termasuk dan tidak pernah sampai kepada kami.

Untuk apa data ini dipakai

Hanya dua tujuan: analitik dan fungsi aplikasi. Secara konkret — agar kami tahu berapa banyak perangkat yang mengalami galat dan pada versi mana, apakah pembaruan terakhir memperbaiki atau justru merusak sesuatu, harga mana yang wajar, dan apakah langganan yang sudah dibayar benar benar terbuka. Tanpa itu kami baru mengetahui bahwa aplikasi bermasalah ketika ada yang mengeluh.

Yang tidak kami lakukan

• Tidak ada akun atau pendaftaran — kami tidak meminta nama, email, atau informasi pribadi lainnya.
• Tidak ada iklan, tidak ada pengidentifikasi iklan, dan tidak ada pembuatan profil pengguna.
• Kami tidak memakai SDK analitik atau pelaporan galat pihak ketiga (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Sentry, Crashlytics). Semua statistik ditulis sendiri dan dikirim hanya ke server kami. Satu-satunya komponen Firebase di dalam aplikasi adalah Firebase Cloud Messaging, dan hanya untuk mengantarkan pemberitahuan yang Anda nyalakan sendiri (lihat bagian "Pemberitahuan").
• Kami tidak menjual data dan tidak membagikannya kepada pihak ketiga untuk kepentingan mereka sendiri. Pengecualiannya hanya penyedia layanan yang bekerja atas nama kami dan dijelaskan di halaman ini.
• Tidak ada akses ke kontak, lokasi, kamera, atau mikrofon.

Pemberitahuan

Ada dua jenis pemberitahuan, keduanya mati secara bawaan dan dinyalakan sendiri oleh orang tua di area orang tua (Untuk Orang Tua → Pemberitahuan). Di sana pula keduanya bisa dimatikan kapan saja.

• Pengingat harian ("waktunya cerita") dijadwalkan oleh ponsel Anda sendiri. Jamnya disimpan hanya di perangkat, tidak pernah dikirim ke server kami, dan pengingat tetap bekerja tanpa internet.
• Kabar dari Cerita — dongeng baru, informasi penting, sesekali penawaran langganan. Untuk mengantarkannya kami memakai Firebase Cloud Messaging dari Google, yang bekerja atas nama kami. Saat Anda menyalakannya, perangkat mendaftar ke Google dan mendapat token pengiriman: token itu dikelola Google sesuai kebijakan privasi Firebase, sedangkan kami tidak menerima dan tidak menyimpan token maupun daftar perangkat. Kami mengirim satu pesan ke seluruh pelanggan sekaligus (topik), jadi kami tidak dapat menyasar perangkat tertentu. Di iPhone dan iPad pengantaran terakhir dilakukan oleh Apple (APNs) sesuai kebijakan privasi Apple. Isi pemberitahuan selalu ditulis manusia dan ditujukan untuk orang tua, bukan untuk anak.

Cara kerja aplikasi

Aplikasi mengunduh cerita (gambar dan audio) dari server kami melalui koneksi terenkripsi (HTTPS). Semua data yang disebut di atas juga dikirim melalui HTTPS. Cerita yang sudah dimuat disimpan di perangkat Anda hanya untuk mempercepat pemakaian berikutnya.

Pembelian

Pembayaran diproses sepenuhnya oleh Google Play atau Apple App Store sesuai kebijakan privasi mereka. Nomor kartu dan data pembayaran lainnya tidak pernah kami terima maupun simpan. Untuk mengetahui status langganan, aplikasi memakai layanan RevenueCat, yang bekerja atas nama kami: RevenueCat menerima install_id anonim yang sama sebagai nomor pelanggan dan mengembalikan status langganan.

Penyimpanan dan penghapusan

Data disimpan di server kami dan pada penyedia infrastruktur cloud yang bekerja atas nama kami (hosting, basis data, penyimpanan berkas). Karena data bersifat anonim, kami tidak dapat menghubungkannya dengan orang tertentu — sehingga kami juga tidak dapat menemukan dan menghapusnya atas permintaan. Jika Anda menghapus lalu memasang ulang aplikasi, perangkat biasanya mendapat install_id baru; namun bila Anda memulihkan perangkat dari cadangan Google, nilai lama dapat ikut kembali.

Anak-anak

Aplikasi ini mengikuti program Google Play "Dirancang untuk Keluarga" (Designed for Families). Kami tidak meminta dan tidak mengumpulkan nama, email, atau data lain yang mengidentifikasi anak. Yang terkumpul hanyalah pengidentifikasi pemasangan yang anonim dan peristiwa teknis yang dijelaskan di atas. Tidak ada iklan dan tidak ada pengidentifikasi iklan.

Privacy Policy — Cerita

Cerita is an Indonesian-language children's story app with illustrations and voice narration. Children's privacy is our priority. We collect as little data as possible, and everything we do collect is described below — with no exceptions.

What we collect

• An anonymous installation identifier (install_id). A random value the app generates on the device at first launch. It is not connected to a name, email, phone number, Google account, or any other identity. We use it for two things: telling one installation from another when counting statistics, and deciding which version of the subscription screen and which price this device is shown as part of a price experiment. That assignment is computed from the random value itself — we build no user profile.
• Crash reports. When something goes wrong, the app sends a technical marker of the error: the error class name, plus the file name and line number of up to three places in our own code, plus the app version and the screen name. We never store the message text of the error, the story content, or anything you see or hear in the app.
• Technical in-app events. We record app launches, whether the catalogue loaded or failed to load, opening of the subscription screen, taps on the buttons there, and the outcome of a purchase (succeeded, cancelled, or failed) together with the subscription plan name and its shop price. We also record reading events: a story was opened, read to the final screen, closed before the end, and taps on a locked story. We also record simple steps inside the app: opening the section for parents, a tap on the next-story button, adding or removing a story from favourites, and opening a catalogue shelf. Along with such an event we receive the technical name (slug) of the story or the shelf and a single number — the page number or the reading time in seconds; the story text is not included. Every event carries the anonymous install_id, the platform, the app version, and the moment the event happened by the device clock — an event may wait offline and arrive hours later. If you switch notifications on, we also record: a notification reached the device, a notification was opened, and the moments you switch notifications on or off or refuse the system permission. The first two carry the campaign number — an identifier in our own database, so that we know how many devices received that campaign; the notification text and your phone number are not included. Beyond the technical markers named above, an event holds nothing about you or your child.
• Feedback you write yourself (the "Masukan & bantuan" form). If you choose to suggest a story idea or report a problem, we receive the text you wrote, as it is. Sending it is entirely voluntary — the app works fully without it. Along with the text we always receive the anonymous install_id, the app version, the platform type (Android or iOS), and the name of the screen the button was pressed on. If what you are sending is a bug report, we also receive the technical name (slug) of the story that was open and its page number, a technical signature of the last error (the error class name and up to three lines of our own code — without the error message text and without any links), and a marker that the app failed to load the catalogue. We do not ask for and do not store your email, your name, or a child's age — and precisely because of that we cannot reply to you personally. Feedback text is never published and is never shown to other users; we use it only to fix the app and to choose which story to make next. The form lives in the parents' area and opens only after a parental check, so a child cannot send anything on their own. Please do not put personal data into the text.
• Subscription status. Technical subscription data we receive from RevenueCat: the plan, price and currency, active or expired status, store country, and the store transaction identifiers. Card data is not included and never reaches us.

What it is used for

Two purposes only: analytics and app functionality. Concretely — so we know how many devices hit an error and on which version, whether the latest update fixed something or broke it, which price is reasonable, and whether a subscription that was paid for actually unlocked. Without this we would learn the app is broken only when somebody complains.

What we do not do

• No accounts or registration — we do not ask for names, emails, or any other personal information.
• No advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no user profiling.
• We use no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Sentry, Crashlytics). All statistics are written by us and sent only to our own server. The only Firebase component inside the app is Firebase Cloud Messaging, and it is there solely to deliver the notifications you switched on yourself (see "Notifications").
• We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only exception is service providers acting on our behalf, described on this page.
• No access to contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

Notifications

There are two kinds of notifications. Both are off by default and are switched on by a parent in the parents' area (Untuk Orang Tua → Pemberitahuan), where they can also be switched off at any time.

• The daily reminder ("time for a story") is scheduled by your own phone. The time you pick is kept on the device only, never sent to our server, and the reminder keeps working without internet.
• News from Cerita — a new story, important information, occasionally a subscription offer. To deliver those we use Firebase Cloud Messaging by Google, which works on our behalf. When you switch them on, the device registers with Google and receives a delivery token: that token is handled by Google under the Firebase privacy policy, while we never receive and never store the token or any list of devices. We send one message to all subscribers at once (a topic), so we cannot target a particular device. On iPhone and iPad the final delivery is performed by Apple (APNs) under Apple's privacy policy. The text of a notification is always written by a human and addressed to the parent, not to the child.

How the app works

The app downloads stories (images and audio) from our server over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Everything described above is sent over HTTPS as well. Loaded stories are cached on your device only to speed up later use.

Purchases

Payments are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own privacy policies. Your card number and other payment credentials never reach us and are never stored by us. To know your subscription status the app uses RevenueCat, which acts on our behalf: RevenueCat receives the same anonymous install_id as the customer number and returns the subscription status.

Storage and deletion

Data is stored on our server and with cloud infrastructure providers acting on our behalf (hosting, database, file storage). Because the data is anonymous, we cannot link it to a particular person — and therefore cannot find and delete it on request either. If you uninstall and reinstall the app, the device usually gets a new install_id; however, if you restore the device from a Google backup, the old value may come back with it.

Children

This app follows the Google Play "Designed for Families" program. We do not ask for and do not collect a child's name, email, or any other identifying data. What is collected is the anonymous installation identifier and the technical events described above. There is no advertising and no advertising identifiers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the current version will always be available at this page.
